City Farm SLO works to empower the next generation to live healthier, more prosperous lives through sustainable agriculture and farm based education, while strengthening our local food system by providing affordable land to enable sustainable small farms.
Project overview
As new volunteers wish to directly support the mission of City Farm SLO, they must complete an onboarding orientation covering the types of volunteer events and facilities associated with City Farm. Onboarding and managing volunteers and events has been a point of struggle as City Farm has grown, so we have created a volunteer management platform with event scheduling that enables easier communications between the staff and volunteers.
