Lumina Alliance
Lumina Alliance (formerly two separate nonprofits; Stand Strong and Rise) is dedicated to ending sexual and intimate partner violence through advocacy and legal support, as well as offering 24/7 crisis and information hotline.
Project overview
Ensuring every shift of their 24/7 crisis hotline is covered by volunteers has been a point of struggle for Lumina in the past, as communicating changing availability between volunteers and coordinators is tedious and time intensive. By creating a volunteer management system that allows volunteers to schedule their own shifts and staff to view shift coverage, more time can be spent focusing on ending sexual and intimate partner violence.
