Lumina Alliance
Lumina Alliance (formerly two separate nonprofits, Stand Strong and Rise) is dedicated to ending sexual and intimate partner violence through advocacy and legal support, as well as offering 24/7 crisis and information hotline.
Project overview
Ensuring every shift of their 24/7 crisis hotline is covered by volunteers has been a point of struggle for Lumina in the past, as communicating changing availability between volunteers and coordinators is tedious and time intensive. By creating a volunteer management system that allows volunteers to schedule their own shifts and staff to view shift coverage, more time can be spent focusing on ending sexual and intimate partner violence.
