The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) is a civil rights organization working to ensure political, educational, social, and economic equality for all, and to eliminate racial hatred and discrimination through political activism and community engagement.
Project overview
To build a more connected community, NAACP of SLO is creating a community gardening program that provides information and resources to individuals interested in starting their own garden, as well as forming a "buyer's club" to help distribute people's produce throughout the community as needed.
