Veggie Rescue works to improve food security in the community while reducing food waste by collecting fresh fruits, vegetables, and prepared foods from farmers and local businesses, then delivering this food to nonprofit organizations feeding those in need.
Project overview
Tracking and managing food donations and delivery information for drivers is a tedious and repetitive process prone to errors. By creating a digital system that allows drivers to log donation information on pickups, the movement of food can be more easily tracked, allowing Veggie Rescue to effeciently administer their resources. Additionally, our platform handles driver availability and allows for easy report generation for both donations and driver activities.
