Veggie Rescue works to improve food security in the community while reducing food waste by collecting fresh fruits, vegetables, and prepared foods from farmers and local businesses, then delivering this food to nonprofit organizations feeding those in need.
Project overview
Veggie Rescue had a need to eliminate unnecessary, manual processes and improve accuracy in data capture when picking up donations. Our platform features an availability system for drivers, easy report generation, and a logging system for drivers to record information, all on a mobile-friendly, progressive web application. This is a continuation of a 2022 project.
